Connect With Us:

2024 PPPAD Theme: Community

As the PPP Awareness Day team began to plan events for 2024, an overarching theme of “community” was still needed. We understand the powerful impact of connecting with other survivors in our own lives, and in our fourth year, we wanted to continue that impact into this event.

On behalf of our whole team of volunteers, we hope to see you soon!

Become a PPP Ambassador

Becoming a PPP Ambassador holds immense significance for individuals with lived experience of Postpartum Psychosis (PPP) and healthcare professionals. Those with lived experience bring a unique perspective and firsthand understanding of the challenges and impact of PPP, allowing them to advocate for improved support, resources, and awareness. By sharing their stories and insights, they can offer hope, encouragement, and valuable guidance to others affected by PPP. On the other hand, healthcare professionals, as PPP Ambassadors, play a crucial role in raising awareness, providing education, and advocating for better mental health care for perinatal individuals. Their expertise and influence can help shape policies, enhance clinical practices, and foster a more supportive environment for PPP survivors. Together, as PPP Ambassadors, individuals with lived experience and healthcare professionals can drive positive change, break the stigma surrounding PPP, and ultimately save lives.
